Review Queue

I don’t mean to complain, I’m just wondering if the review queue numbers in our profile are accurate. I’ve been at first but it appears files moving after me are moving through the queue, there were like 19 behind me now there’s 13, I don’t think 7 authors deleted their items. Is this normal, or is my file not showing up. Does it need to be reviewed by a specific person, and that person isn’t here? I would like to fix my item fast as possible to get it on the marketplace.

(Once again by no means am I blaming the reviewers, just curious if any of the scenarios above happened)

EDIT : Yeah, definitely a few jumped ahead of me I see new files on the marketplace. But they are in different categories.

Could be a few things going on. One is that different categories are reviewed by different reviewers, so the number that really matters is the position in your category’s queue.

The other thing that could be going on is that a reviewer needed a second opinion on your product. (I know this happens once in a while on ThemeForest, for example). In that case the submission would be held back until the other reviewer had time to look at it.

Alright thats what I was thinking was going on, my item’s in a more obscure category of CodeCanyon. Guess I’ll just have to wait out the 7 days.
