I don’t really see the big deal over “retina”... I have to really look super close and concentrate to see any kind of difference between retina and normal.

Anyway, I’m wondering something about Retina and image size. Since the resolution is super high in a smallish form factor, won’t everything look super small on it? Like a 960px site would look very narrow on this screen. And any image in general will look way smaller on it vs a regular screen with fatter pixels. Am I right, or don’t I understand the retina technology?

For a good while i’ve been thinking of getting a mac machine. I expected a refresh in the iMac line as well, but as it didn’t happen, i’ll be getting a macbook pro later this summer. I’ll be getting a 13” one because i feel the price difference between a simple MB Pro and a retina display one is too big and the features added are not worth it.

Cheers

I think Apple should be a jewelry company, they make jewels, not computers, It’s great, especially the thickness, which is close to the macbook air’s one, but still too expensive,

The 2100$ are definetly to much for me! I’m going to wait until the new MBP 13 ” are available in the refurbished store (hopefully to the end of this year).

I wonder the same, but “normal” websites on iPad3 look rather “normal”, so I don’t really get it ;)
