Hi,
Question for Envato developers. Is it possible to implement a feature which let’s us see who rated our items.
This way we can provide NO MORE future support for these person who are rating items 1 or 2 stars because they don’t get help within 10 minutes.
Thanks

- Author was Featured
- Sold between 50 000 and 100 000 dollars
- Author had a Free File of the Month
- Bought between 1 and 9 items
- Exclusive Author
- Europe
- Has been a member for 3-4 years
- Referred between 10 and 49 users
- Repeatedly Helped protect Envato Marketplaces against copyright violations
I believe its not going to happen because its affects buyer’s privacy.
Also, after Envato added ability to edit rating unlimited number of times, this is useless.

I guess this is Envato decision.
+1 to this
+1 for this – I’ve recently emailed Envato for a breakdown.
I’ve just experienced the downside of user rating. I think it’s completely unfair that 1 or 2 people can influence the overall ratings because they didn’t understand how the Theme works (or WordPress in general).
I’d rather have the option to give them a refund than lose rating. Or a secondary rating which is by Envato or a group of selected reviewers.
Amazon seem to do this fine, don’t see why Envato can’t.
Maybe a “Pre-rating” feature that lets the buyer pre-rate the item with only the buyer and the author can see. So the author can “negotiate” the rating given by the buyer before the actual and final rating.
I know this could be impossible due to privacy reasons but we can see who purchased our files when they need support so why can’t see if and how they gave a rating.
We don’t feel like providing any more support to people who rate our items one or two stars because of such a stupid and childish reason.
