Patience lads !

You test your patience when waiting 6 days to get your item reviewed and still having to wait, in what is probably the easiest category to review!

Upload form says 7 days max. It’s when stuff like this happens that it gets up to 7 days. Actually it’s not the easiest category to review.

i did not state Profit or otherwise,

also the 5,650,000 is on a fraction of what envato makes i only included 4% or less of authors money.

My point is it a set of site that bring in millions, which as i have shown is true,

I just seem a website that big and with as much money as envato could get simple coding things sorted.

like the fact a lot of people have problem uploading file, this is awful that fact the whole site is based on people uploading and selling, yet week after week I see threads on being unable to upload items

I used to be an accountant so i am well aware of the profitability of businesses, and that what make me angry the fact i know problems are not corrected due to lack of funding.

Take a look at Microsoft, skilled developers could easily stable up the operating system .. Windows I think it’s called .. But yet, it still have a lot of bugs .. And from my knowledge this is one of the worlds biggest companies ..

What I’m trying to say is, no matter how much money you have as a company .. Money can’t fix all the problems in the world .. Fixing bugs could easily create new bugs that’s worse than the one before ..

Besides, our Dev Team makes an awesome job to keep more than a few sites running smoothly to about 98% of the time .. The other 2% is problems occurring that no one can see coming ..

Have you seen the slogan? “There are things that money can’t buy….. for everything else there is MasterCard”

If you people check out the queue often, you’ll find most reviews a day don’t take longer than 30 minutes.

When I uploaded my last file, it was on the 160th position (If I remember well) in the general category and 19th in the add-ons.

Almost a week has passed and now it’s on the 8th position in general category and 4th in add-ons. So I don’t understand what you ArikB mean by “It’s when stuff like this happens that it gets up to 7 days” because the all the other categories seem to have been reviewed quite well. 150 reviewed uploads in 6 days is very good. 15 reviewed uploads in 6 days is very bad.

What i meant is that because of these bugs which have been present for a few days now we are facing a huge backlog. This has put strain on the categories which has causex most hours to go to the graphics category. Im in a car atm running an urgent errand, as soon as I get back i am hitting add ons cat.

Is there something going on with the que? I haven’t seen any progress in the last 12-16 hours.

It getting there i saw my item go up a few places, you learn after you been here a while you just have to wait, you cant complain till it get to 7 days!

Just heard that the Queue was over 200 again? I don’t know, don’t have anything to upload (yet). Will notice after 1-2 days! Maybe hire another reviewer?
