Thanks to Jarel for chiming in… However, I do really think we deserve an explanation as to why this takes months on months and several threads by disgruntled authors before being taken care off (if this is indeed the case)... I guess we’ll have to wait for Jeffrey’s explanation or one from a developer…
I agree, and someone will be here to chime in. They’re currently busy taking care of some of these important issues.

@ DD – Yup, I do love my job, Envato, the awesome community of authors and buyers here, and the potential money I can make as an author myself (if I would actually get back to making templates).
I haven’t been in the forums as often because 1) I’ve been a little busy with Web.AppStorm and 2) I don’t feel the need to respond to every thread.
When bugs and system crashes happen, it can get crazy for developers or anyone running/hosting large sites. So it’s not a matter of hiring more people, because that doesn’t solve the problem. It’s just something you live with when you do something like this.
In regards to Jeffrey, he’s a smart guy. If he was overwhelmed, I think he’d say something and they would hire more people.
Let’s face it DD, you’re just being overly critical and negative right now, something you particularly like doing. I’m not blaming you or anyone else for being upset, or expressing your frustrations (though please do it appropriately), but bear in mind the staff hears your frustrations and are doing everything we can to take care of them.

There have been several threads about the issue with old items moving up in the queue during the past few months; each of them started by frustrated authors asking to get this problem solved and asking for an explanation why it has to take so long… The only thing happening was that, in some threads, you or Jeffrey chimed in and told us the issue was being looked into or worked on…. Yet months later, here we are, having the same discussion all over again. You can’t blame people for thinking: “Hmmm, if they really cared so much, it seems weird it would take them months to get a relatively simple bug fixed”.
Yup. That’s absolutely right. I have no idea why that issue hasn’t been fixed yet (it’s not really my place to know that though) and I agree that it’s been too long. I hope we can hear from a developer on this issue, as there is likely a very good reason as to why it hasn’t been taken care of yet.

Hey guys,
A few things:
1) Dany – This bug has nothing to do with me. It’s not my mistake. One day, you’ll learn how to be respectful of others.
2) It’s possible that this current issue is unrelated to the old bug from a few months ago. We’ve been having some issues with our review queue. I was told last night that the devs had rolled out all the fixes, but it seems that there are still some problems with the queue. I’ve emailed all of the site managers – as this affects more than just ThemeForest – as well as Jason, our marketplace manager. Hopefully, it’ll be resolved as soon as possible.
The managers and I, in our recent conference call, spoke about placing more emphasis on fixing existing bugs/issues, rather than implementing on new features. Hopefully, you’ll begin to see that pan out.

You know why am I so critical and negative ? Because this place is becoming a joke and someone have to say it and if you look at the past .. the only time something changed is when something act like me .. that’s the only way Jeffrey understand and do something , when it’s too late.
He wait until everybody’s really really pissed off and then he do something, that’s not how it should work.
But maybe if you wouldnt be soooo busy with web.appstorm and he wouldnt be sooooo busy with nettuts, then you would see it coming before it happen.
You all just left TF on it’s own and you don’t want to admit it.
After all, author are doing all the hard work, you dont need to do anything no more.
We are left on our own and we pay the big price.

So it took all this time to realize you had to fix bugs ?
I am not disrespectfull, I’m just being honnest and saying what everybody’s thinking.
You are the one that doesn’t respect people when you act like this. You don’t even respect yourself by working on so many thing without being able to do them all good , just to prove to yourself that you can do a lot of thing at the same time.
Relax man , take it easy. I think you need some vacation.

Dany – I’m going to recommend that you spend some time outdoors in the sun. Because you really seem like an angry guy.
You see Jarel and myself a bit less on the forums now because we have a full community moderator team who helps out much more now. That way, we can focus on reviewing/adding new features/support threads/etc.
Neither Jarel nor I have any control over bugs that accidentally occur. We’re doing our best to fix this.

Seriously? This is it?
This thread doesn’t have anything to do with problems with update queue… Is has to do with this extremely annoying bug pushing old items back up the queue and why on earth it takes months on months to get this solved… This isn’t something new here; this issue has been brought up in several threads the past months and it would be really nice finally hear an explanation as to why this hasn’t been handled yet…
Sorry, but your response here doesn’t cut it my opinion… As site manager, you seriously need to be aware of these issues and you should know what’s being done to deal with. Why is this taking forever? And why won’t anyone give a satisfying explanation?

Actually, I have a really great tan
And no, I’m not angry … it’s not because someone is confronting you on the way you do your job that I he is angry.
I think you don’t do your job correctly. You don’t agree ? Fine, I don’t care. Do what you want you are a big boy but you don’t see the problem you are causing to this place and everybody’s suffering about it.
I have lost a lot of money when my new theme’s visit suddenly drop from 2K visit / day to 400 in 2 days because of your bad move with magento themes , wich you admit was the wrong way to do thing and that you wouldnt do it the next time .. but if you would do your job correctly, you would have tought about it at the first time.
And for the devs, well the person in charge should show some authority here and fire them if they can’t do the job.
So that’s the problem here, when people doesn’t do their job … they are not fired.
So it’s author that pay, without author, this place is nothing, we are your golden egg chicken man.

And always wear sunscreen – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfq_A8nXMsQ
You been making more money each month but I don’t see you preising anyone for that.
I usually stay and mind my own business but I couldn’t this time.
Man you seriously need to chill a little .. use that energy in creating a new template.. you’ll get that money back soon. Things don’t always go our way, that’s how life is sometimes .. adapt and thrive bro I know you can make it in any situation.
