Hey guys,
So I decided I’ll try to make some print templates (flyers).
But one major issue I get is these trim and bleed lines – since I’ve never printed anything or designed anything with specific lines and calculating, I find it a bit hard to even start with it.
How can I create a, let’s say, 8×16” flyer with bleed and trim lines? Any useful topics, downloadable content?
Thanks!

Standard is either 0.25” or 3mm
so your canvas size should be 8.25”x16.25”
So I can create a file that big and don’t do anything else, or include those thin lines?
And a really silly question, how do I make the number with decimals? .** doesn’t work, I can only submit a full number in Photoshop.
Thanks!

0.25” – 0,25 inches
For poster / flyer – Just open new psd file A3 or A4 / CMYK / 300dpi
add canvas size for bleed + 0,3cm
make 3 guides, for bleed, trim and safe (text) area
