How many of you Designers uses Ipad 2 in previewing your portfolio to your clients..

Is that more effective then using the LAPTOP ?

The iPad is great, when it comes to show your Portfolio to Clients. You can just pull it out of your messenger bag (or whatever you are using to keep it with you), open the App (there are some cool Portfolio Apps on the market) and show your clients what you are capable of. If your done with blowing your potential clients mind of, you can just add them to your contacts. Fast, simple and of course it‘s a bit of a status symbol.

I Think, canimalition means the Samsung Galaxy :). I think, the Apps for the iPad making the difference. Is there any Portfolio App for the Galaxy? And yeah, in Germany it‘s not available, cause Apple sues Samsung because of some design patent rights like: »Four rounded corners, a clear and flat surface ontop of the phone and when it‘s turned on, you see a window with app icons on it.« So enough off topic.

F.Y.I.: I would wait till the end of the year. In the iOS 5, there is a leaked code snippet wich shows a much higher resolution of the iPad than now. I think, Apple will produce an iPad with a Retina-Display till Christmas :).

Just my 2 cents :)
