Using istockphoto as an example, I can use the standard license until I sell more than 499,999 copies.

The Envato licenses have been a disaster from the start – they are badly worded almost on purpose it seems to leave gaps, and the extended licenses (for themeforest ) are simply a joke, it’s why we don’t have them switched on – as for photodune, even though it took forever to get the site live, it’s a shameful attempt at a stock photo site (see previous threads) – it’s not professional looking, distracts from the images, you can’t sort / search correctly, no lightbox, NO CART just awful awful experience – I can tell you this, if that was built by my staff for a stock photo site they’d be fired by now – we have now made a decision as a media buyer based on our latest purchasing from the site, to boycott it totally and just head to a proper stock image site that understands what they are doing and how to do business online in the stock image world.

Envato are good at their initial interests but have poorly expanded in to different markets.

Sorry for the harsh words but I can back up every point I made.
