Hello Photodune support or professionals…
Simple question…
What is the required or preferred DPI for any photo that I want to upload to Photodune in order to seel it? I’m talking about the images that will actually be sold.
72dpi? or 180? or 200? or 300?
Please reply soon
Thank You.

Hello tintation! Here is a link to the official PhotoDune upload instructions. There is no mention of DPI though. If you still have questions after looking them over, let me know and I will look further for a better explanation for you

Hi Joshua, I already went over and over everything I could find on photodune instructions and couldn’t find anything useful about the DPI requirements.
The amount of DPI affects the size in pixels in Photoshop that is why I really need to know at what DPI does this website want their photos sold at? I can’t believe it’s not in the instructions. This website only tells what sizes are aloud and what dimensions, but no Pixels Per Inch.
Thank you in advance

Hey tintation,
I think I can help you out with this one! Because all sales on PhotoDune are priced based on pixel dimensions, it doesn’t matter how many pixels per inch your images are. For example, let’s say you have an image that is 2000 pixels wide and 2000 pixels long. You can set it to 72PPI and it will measure 27.778×27.778 inches, or you can set it to 300PPI and it will measure 6.667×6.667 inches. Either way, it will still be 2000 pixels wide and 2000 pixels long.
If you’d like a straight-out solution, I’d recommend saving your images at 72PPI as this caters towards buyers who want to use your images in a web format. I must stress, however, that the minimum pixel requirement (2MP) is the only requirement we place on image size.

Finally! Thank You Jesshooper. That is exactly what I wanted to hear. Question answered, and I’m very satisfied
