Hello. I have a question about content for may ae project. Please help to understand some aspects! I make splatter reveal, in which I used painted by hand splashes. If I include this .mov file in project, how to specify that it is my job? And do I need to do this?
Some authors sometimes make a mark – This After Effects Template and All it’s Contents All Rights is Reserved by….(http://videohive.net/item/cubes-logo-reveal-pack/475180?WT) Does it help to protect my work and get away from allegations by other authors? I hope for your help friends!

Just make sure you add the VideoHive watermark to your preview flv – that’s all.
Ofcourse , watermark for preview. What about content in ZIP archive? I am the legal owner! Do I have to prove that I am the author? Because I’ll sell it, and not only show in the preview!
Just don’t forget to write the message for the reviewer regarding that all included assets are yours. In the text field at the bottom of upload page. I think, you’d have to prove it in case there would be somebody complaining that asset you used is not yours.
No, you don’t have to write in the item description, that you are the owner of this project and the copyright belongs to you. You can, but you don’t have to.

how do you prove that the after effect template (.ae) is yours?
doru, I think that DoubleX mean not ae project , but content files, which include in this project.

Can’t find that post in forums now but one of reviewers has mentioned, that it’s good to write this message to avoid unnecessary rejection…at least I remember it this way.

2 things come up to my mind:
1. If project is yours, videohive is the first place on the internet where it was uploaded. That means there is no other website you could steal it from.
2. I use auto-save function in after effects, that means I have basically about 40 versions of every project of mine and together it’s like structure of the project – from beginning to final result. Only true author can show up with this kind of files.

isn’t the same thing?
but the correct answer is this:
You don’t need to prove nothing. If someone accuse you to steal that content he needs to bring proof.
This was correct for thousands of years but now, because we are living in a modern society nothing is logical anymore and our governments work on creating laws that allows anyone to accuse you of stealing stuff without any proof and if you want to clear your name you need to find yourself some hypothetical proof that may or may not be accepted by a third party (envato for example or a judge) Meanwhile you lose time and money to clear your name for practically nothing in return just to sit like a duck for the next douche bag that have nothing to do than accuse you of various stuff.
Ok ,friends. Thank you all. Your answers helped me to understand this process.
