I got my MacBook like 4 weeks now so I sended in a request for a free copy of Mountain Lion. Just so everyone who bought their MacBook in the past couple of weeks knows…. If you bought your MacBook in June or Juli this year then you can get a free copy of Mountain Lion trough the Apple Website.

Not really good speed. i have done, and installed Mountain Lion , but look it runing slow .

I was downloading Mountain Lion yesterday morning. I tried to install it on my 11 month old MacBook Pro, but unfortunately it turned out that I had 8 bad sectors on the harddrive (surprised as I normally run disk utility pretty often). I tried to repair it with disk utility… but that wasn’t possible!
The upgrade failed and I was not able to get to my data 
Drove to the Apple Store and they replaced the harddrive without any cost (I did have Apple Care), but I decided that it was time to upgrade and time to sell the “old” MacBook Pro

My thought. I have a slow connection here but even then I manage to download tons of data through torrents because they don’t crash.
I was able to download upto 3.88GB last night but the AppStore suddenly threw some error, and when I restarted, it started from scratch. 2.53GB done now. Let’s hope it gets through this time.
