The cycore effects which have always been free for download at the cycorefx homepage are not available there anymore.
There is a new version called cycore fx hd which is 299$ now.
It´s seem there will be no free version installed inside of after effects in upcoming version CS6 .
You can of course still use cycore fx for free when you have purchased after effects till version 5.5
I have deleted the download links to cycorefx.com in my item description.

Are you sure they free up till now? I think cycore fx that are bundled with After effects were never free at all. You pay them through the AE main software…

I think that’s the idea with bundled software.. the user gets it at a majorly reduced price, but the vendor is reaching a far broader market than they would otherwise have done….and presumably been paid a small fee for each copy of the main software sold. Otherwise, there’d be no point in a vendor allowing their software to be bundled.
What makes you say it won’t be in future versions of AE, gecoooh? I couldn’t see anything about that on the Cycore site and I don’t recall After Effects ever having dropped a bundled item in the past.

cycore are not free. if you install a trial version of after effects cc plugins they don’t even work

Yes, thats what I meant with “free”.The bundle which comes with an purchased after effects version.
I was confused about downloading the newest update from cycore for my 5.5 version and finding a green cross watermark over my preview after installing.
Cycore offers two version the cycoreFX HD and the cycoreFX(Afx Bundle).
