Hey all. Just thought I’d point out that although October has 31 days, it had 5 full weekends in it (typically slow sales days). May want to keep that handicap in mind when comparing sales to other months.
In fact, October had 5 full Fri-Sat-Sun combinations which are typically my slowest days (maybe they are awesome for others?). That’s 15 days out of the month compared to a month like September which had 13 slower days. It might seem insignificant, but I think it makes an impact.
Just sayin’...
Hmm true, My sales are usually normal on the weekends though. I have noticed hardly any corporate type songs sell on the weekend, usually its more filmscore or unique electronica stuff.

Good point
Weekends are ususaly low here as well.
I totally agree. The low level of sales over the weekend. Especially for the corporate music.
I don’t think it matters. October has been my best month to date and I haven’t been actively adding new stuff for a while.
This was a good October, but I agree re: weekends
Weekends are mostly “dead-time”, while tue-thu is the happy-spending time!
Usually, but not always.
Saturday and Sunday are low-sales days.
But Friday sometimes gives very good results.
Hi guys, i’ve given up trying to figure it out, it’s just nice to make a sale whatever day it is.
But thanks Pinkzebra that bit of info makes me feel better
Weekends tend to be a little bit slower ones for us too.
As I understood last week of the month is usually bad for sales…
