Hi everyone,
There is missing in the “3D Model Files Included” upload section the .OBJ file type. I think it is very important to add that file type because it can be used through almost all 3d applications.
Thanks

Good that you mention it! It is supposed to be there as well as .fbx!
.obj and .3ds are needed, I agree.

Anyway, another thing that would be nice is having the ability to select optional file formats (.obj or .fbx) in the “format” selection area, so an icon appears on the sidebar showing these too. Right now the only choice to specify this is inside the description; Also, since an .obj can be uploaded without any other fileformat, this would help see it or the sidebar wiould appear empty.
When viewing an item, on the right sidebar where says “FileTypes Included”.. I think these icons are somewhat confusing. It would be better to use the application icon; if not, at least state correct extensions for files: right now, it says .MA for all Maya files, but in reality .ma file extension means Maya ASCII ; the commonly used Maya format is .MB, so I think these should be revised. Also, a white icon doesn’t help viewing at a glance the format.
