Chrome 15.0.874.106 betaI think when you say “I’m using Chrome” people already know your version number. I mean, it’s not like they give you an option to be with 15.0.874.105 anymore.
P.S. Works for me, I’m using Chrome.![]()
lol +1 works fine here
I’m using Chrome, seems like it’s haunting me lol.

Unfortunately there seems to be a problem with Chrome here as well. It also happened with banners that appeared previously like the graphic bundle.

Howdy folks,
Seems like this is happening for only some users and working as expected for others. I’ll show this to the devs in the office tomorrow morning

It seems to be working fine for me on Chrome, though I’ve definitely had issues with the banner not closing (and staying closed) in chrome before.

I always have this issue with the banners as well using Chrome (with cookies enabled, yes). At least it’s a nice redish hugh this time around.![]()
Same here. But it never happened before, it all started with the Graphic Designer Bundle.

OK, for everyone using Google, you can just use a really simple (stupid?) Blank Canvas script I wrote:
- Install the Blank Canvas extension
- Add this script:
// ==UserScript== // @name Banner free Envato forums // @description Hide banner announcement on top of Envato marketplace forums // @author cmt // @include http://activeden.net/* // @include http://audiojungle.net/* // @include http://themeforest.net/* // @include http://videohive.net/* // @include http://graphicriver.net/* // @include http://3docean.net/user/* // @include http://codecanyon.net/forums/* // @include http://marketplace.tutsplus.com/* // @include http://photodune.net/* // @version 1.0 // ==/UserScript== $(function(){ $(".promo-strip").hide(); });
Yes, the banner flickers when the page loads, but I don’t feel like writing a cookie script right now. Hope it helps though.

Hey guys,
Just checked with the devs and have a few notes, but from what I can tell from chatting with the others it is working as intended from our end.
- It’s all cookie based, your settings could be affecting how it behaves.
- Clearing cache or cookies can cause it to show again.
- You’ll have to close it once per marketplace as they are tied to each marketplace.
- Some browser settings automatically clear cookies at short intervals or on quit etc, this would also affect it.
Cheers!
