New switcher on Homepage

I got low sales for the latest file which was on populars page. Since the banner linking again to weekly populars on home page i notice a big increase on that file. I haven’t notice anything in the rest of my portfolio, that is: low sales.

Just one thing to say, weekly top sellers is necessary.

Sales are extremely low here for the past 1,5 week. But hey, maybe I need to add some new files !

Odd.. I experienced quite a good month in January so far (and last year as well). But last year my sales halved in February, curious to see what’ll happen this year. But yeah, I guess my amount of sales is small enough for coincidences to cause this effect

yup.. everyone is different.. but generally speaking January is slow.. unless u have uploaded some new files end Dec and January then it’s gonna be an exception

You have your statistic guys! I do not mind if you do your math behind the curtain. But having this page:

http://activeden.net/author/top_authors, instead this: http://activeden.net/page/top_sellers is a 14 days disaster for the new files.

I’m really frustrated even if I do not have published a single file in the last year.

If you could see the difference and explain to me WHY you did it I’ll agree sooo:

Edit: According to this post, I believe we can expect a categorized weekly top seller page.

Not having the page http://activeden.net/page/top_sellers means so many things:

1. Lower the quality standards – not yours but the one in our customer’ eye. – cos they see the old files first

2. Promote outdated files

3. Make BIG fat joke out of the hard work of our new authors and those who have really great files.

4. And so on, so on… really need an explanation. You have 2 links in the bottom. Why not 3 so we still have the Weekly popular files? Why so drastic changes are done without discussing here? I can’t get it!

well I understand they want to improve something. But why not keeping at the same time one simple link Weekly Popular Files? so simple… do your new thing and keep the old…
