you first made it and then you talk about the price ?! everyone picks his own things that are important making the price , but personally I count the time and multiply it by hours rate , add extra for complexity of the project and I always add additional money for software and hardware, because to be in this business you should aalways update ur programs and pc and that cost money : )

I’m not really commenting on the specific piece here, but rather the length and format.
You can add a 0 onto the last one. I know it looks simple, but in the commercial world, you’d be surprised how much work it can be to make an apparently simple animation. You can rest assured that you won’t just be making it once. It depends what type of creative input you’re having and who you’re working for. When you enter the realm of a company’s identity and its logo, you are entering a very dangerous minefield. You not only need to be great with art, design and animation, but you also need to be a mind-reader, psychologist and diplomat too.
If you make a 10 second logo sting for a major international brand, there’s a huge weight of responsibility and you could probably add a couple of 0s on the end.
I guess it all depends who you’re working for. What things cost is what people are prepared to pay.
