Need help with a Bamboo loop ( between divs )

Working on a site for a client.

I have divs with 1px border ( full width page ) and a gap between divs showing bg .

What I want to do, is get a Bamboo, kind of twine or string or rope or whatever, Link to link across the divs ( like the ring binder on a paper notepad ) but with just one image, which is one link. These will be positioned on left hand and right hand side of the divs, positioned absolutely, to make it look like the divs are linked by this string.

I have searched High and Low, I recall a site that had done this years ago, but buggered if I can find anything that remotely resembles what I wish to do .. any suggestions ?

Its supposed to look like the divs are sort of parchment , and strung together by these two links.

The images show only right hand side version ( both would be same , so only one image needed )
