Hello!
I’ll try to be direct here: you’re choosing to go with a ‘less is more’, cut down minimalist approach. This is well and good—minimalism, when done right, is exquisite. But when you go down this road you’ll need to keep a few things in mind:
1. You’re competing with the hundreds of other minimalist designs on TF. Whether a design is approved is based on how it compares, and looks, to the other submissions here. And as a general rule, it’s much harder to get a design approved now than in the past due to sheer proliferation.
2. You’re also going to have to get by with a limited set of variables. Ergo, you need to make more efficient, more effective use of them to get the same results. As I keep mentioning, white space and typography are pretty much what make a minimalist design and you need more work on these aspects.
3. With a limited number of variables, you should ideally be trying different variations. The blog view and footer, for example, are quite as generic as things can get. I don’t mean this in a bad way. It doesn’t look bad but not something the TF userbase will be swooning over.
Here is the link to the theme .
Can you guys help with some feedback?
Thank you!
Hi,
Though it doesn’t look that bad, I think it’s not quite finished.
As a visitor I will be left clueless on what to find other than these portfolio items.
When I buy a theme I will expect more than just this one page for example about, contact
When more pages are included I would like to see a navigation bar that takes me to these pages.
I suggest to take a look at some similar portfolio’s. I’ve seen some excellent ones around here and also on other Envato pages for free. Again, I think the look and feel is well done, it’s just not finished. Goodluck!!

Where’s the menu? Your theme has a good start, but when you take a better look at it, you realize that it has missing a lot of elements..

Yeah, a little too minimalist in features. And the content looks unaligned, depending on screen size.
Hmm, I don’t see your name in the about page of ElevenThemes.
OFF : that’s the most detailed reviewer answer I’ve seen in a while. Wonder who it was.

yup gotta agree with @digitalimpact – you can’t just grab someone else’s work and change colors…. good grief.

Honestly, what were you thinking StefanSinca? This is SO wrong!
What did motivate you to copy 99.99% of Gridly but put your copyright and name under?
