Do you think Magic Bullet Looks is a very diffused plugin around the buyers? I’m workin on a project, and in this case Looks is very helpfully and makes the best style i want for it.
But i wouldn’t shrink the purchasing possibility.
So, what do you think? did you ever do a project that requires it? how it’s gone? i should try another solution, or the most part of buyers has it?
thanks, Manuel

I’d say to stick away from it. I mean I understand using plug-ins to do something above what AE does easily. But Magic Bullet is just a looks suite, if you have a play around you could achieve the same thing with some basic color corrections. And you wouldn’t be restricting your file to only buyers with that plug-in.

In fact, I’ve never quite worked out why Magic Bullet Looks exists at all.

Magic bullet is not necessary by any means. Everything it does can be achieved through after effects, BUT what it IS good for though, is very quick edits or scene presentation to producers or directors. You can finish a scene, and quickly scroll through hundreds of presets that update your scene image live so you can see, and then render it out. Just something quick that will easily match the mood you’re going for. I would never finish CCing in Bullet though, use Color for that. And if you want to get into serious color correction, send it off to a proper color house…
thanks guys, you have helped me to make the right choice
