as a lazy author, i usually end up with unfinished – incompleted projects or i can’t even start new ones…
do you guys also has this problems? and what do you do in such cases… it could be great to know that i am not the only one

Same here… Work freelance for a while. Always helps me 
Then go and do a project for the marketplaces.

Some times lack of clarity on certain things may lead the necessity of “halt” some work. In such times, our work should take temporary rest, and start gathering enough information to make our self clear before restarting. But what actually happens is making our self clear will not “look like” useful work. At the same time not doing that will just make the work inefficient and so uninteresting (which is the vital force to continue any work) and all the negative psychology starts playing (After the external activities occupying our working time / mind).
The usual advice for these kind of situation is “Don’t stop working, do something”. This actually helps but what actually it does is unconsciously helping us to gather the info (by trial & error) which we lack before. We never look back so we don’t know how actually we recovered from the past “laziness” experiences and then just assume that the formula is “just working”. No, actually the sincerity and patience to gather the “missing” input data is the key to get ride the so called laziness.
This is just my point of view and personally I believe there is no lazy person in the world, only those who loses clarity and so grip on the work (and then diversions before consciously drop the work) which happens all of us and it is a possibility on each day.
Regarding your question, as an author, I have 3-4 times more unfinished work than what actually completed. But that doesn’t make me worry as I believe the unfinished ones require too much of resource from me “just to complete” which is unnecessary than switching into new ones on which I already have better clarity.
