how do I edit the text in a premade template?
I’ve literally had After effects on my computer for about 45 minutes now..

Or you could take a look at help file that comes with template. If the template is from VH you should have it.

If you bought a template – check for included tutorial, each should have one – either written or video. It is recommended to spend more than 45 mins before posting a thread about it.
