I notice in Firefox, that if I have a video playing in a tab, let’s say youtube, and then if I open a second flash video in another tab, the audio in the first video will automatically go down so I can better listen the video in the second video.
My question. Who is doing this? Flash, Firefox or Windows?
It’s not flash for sure, for me they keep playing on the same vol`,I couldn’t find any FF setting reference for your good issue, maybe you have some 3 plugin or window doing it who knows ….
Interesting i never gave it a thought…… but i use the YouTube option now as html5 not flash only cos` I test lots of mobile via my desktop

whatever it is, is not working always. is strange now it doesn’t work anymore. maybe is youtube pushing some beta build that get deleted when I close the browser and clean the history. But can flash detect that another video is playing in some other tab?
The videos were not both from youtube, one was youtube the other one liveleak

I think there is an event deployed through javascript that tells to the player the window is no more focused.

yes but it doesn’t reduce the audio if I browse on other tabs, only if I open a video in another tab.
