Hello guys, im an IT manager that for a few months is experimenting with the use of joomla to create sites for our clients. Joomla is a good system but in the look and feel a little flaw in my opinion, even when using themes created by professional designers. Browsing through the pages of ThemeForest sites I found for wordpress and html / css graphically exceptional. I wanted to understand the differences, not so much for being a wordpress CMS like Joomla has plug-and backend management. More than other sites for html / css I wanted to know if they will only look good but also difficult to manage / edit / expand. For example, see research modules that do not work should be programmed using Dreamweaver right? And I guess there are no back-end management … Can you give me some advice on the best compromise between ease of use and graphics? Thank you all
no one?
HI
Since I use both WP and Joomla, as well as pure HTML /CSS for third party development I thought I would chip in.
I suggest that for ease of use, ease of editing and management – Wordpress. Its more intuitive for customers, has more plugin options then Joomla and a huge support community in case one has questions. This is on the assumption that eventually your clients will be doing their own posting, including with images, etc. Every time I have put both Joomla and WP in front of a client to do something, WP has won out for quickest time to grasp and implement.
I hope my quick reply is of some help.
