The new tuts+ is here, and it looks brilliant. Designed by Orman Clark (who else?) it just boasts everything a tut site needs.

I feel a little dumb right now but… where are the links to the actual tuts sites? Did they take these off completely?
Yes, I believe all of the tuts+ sites are gone. Now it’s pay only. Not a single free tutorial.
Or not – all of the sites like http://net.tutsplus.com/ still exist, they just aren’t linked to…

Thanks for the kind words guys! I’m the manager over at Tuts+ Premium, and it’s been so much fun to finally share what we’ve been working on with everyone.
The design was a collaborative effort between Orman Clark and Envato designer Jacob Zinman-Jeanes. We’re so proud of how it turned out.
All the free Tuts+ sites are still around – we’ve just turned http://tutsplus.com into a hub for Tuts+ Premium, rather than all the Tuts+ sites. A few people have been saying that they miss having a one-stop hub for all the Tuts+ sites, so we’ll work on adding that again soon!

The only issue is that Envato isn’t Steve Jobs. Envato needs to ask the community for opinions, not do things and then have people wondering. A small site switcher next to the logo would be superb.

Thanks Skellie, that’s good to know. Just the standard Envato “Network” drop down at the top or bottom of the page is all I’m looking for. I guess I’ve gotten lazy about typing the address for those sites
The new site looks fantastic! Now if there were only a way to pay for the monthly fee from our marketplace earnings, would make things ALOT more integrated and hassle-free.

how’s the tuts+ marketplace going to link up with the tuts+ website?
how do the two co-exist? what’s the difference between them? wouldn’t it be a wise idea to merge the two?
