They recently upped the Paypal fees. However I don’t have much details on that as of right now. Hopefully it doesn’t impact me negatively too much, although I hear in some cases they may perceive a 20$ fee per transaction.
Paypal sucks if you are not from US. I use moneybookers and i think that beside their complicated verification process they are the best at this moment.

I am not from the U.S.A, I reside in INDIA , and I have had no problems. Your statement is baseless, there are many who enjoy the services and many who don’t .
You’re lucky Everyone who still get a normal status with your Paypal….nicee

Anytime you want to redeem your earnings (in cash), the best and one of the easiest methods is through swift.
May be, if you’re making thousands of bucks. But charging you 35$ for your sweat bloody 200$? No, thanks)

I had similar problems with Moneybookers aka Skrill. 30 bucks was lost and neither they or my bank don’t know where. How can I know that next time I will not lose 300 bucks. I’m at Payoneer now and waiting for first payment.
Payment received, two days ahead of schedule. Smooth and easy
Thank you Payoneer

The minimum withdrawal for swift is $500. That means, you cannot use swift if you want to withdraw anything below $500 ($499.9 downwards). Swift is pretty easy and less complicated. Your earnings will be transferred straight to your account. You can go head and enjoy your income wisely.
PayPal is ok for lesser earnings but like canimalition and other users have commented, “PayPal is not just reliable.” However, there are authors that are lucky with PayPal, ‘ShermanJackson’ and so on. So it is all about luck but still swift is pretty much better for receiving your earnings if you earn $500 above (no passport or unnecessary documents are required except your immediate bank account).
No third party is needed. Once Envato pay you, after couple of hours or latest 2-3 days thereafter, your money is already in the bank.
I guess, you got my point, bro. In my case (comissions in my country) SWIFT -transfer is more profitable than paypal when you transfer > 1021 $

His statement isn’t baseless. Paypal isn’t used only to withdraw money to bank accounts but there are a number of other purposes for which it is used. Those work quite well within US. Outside of US, not so much.
It ain’t no one’s fault though. Sometimes it is because they have to comply with laws of other countries which is also the reason why Indian users can’t do much else than withdraw (RBI regulations). If not that then basically the next reason is because it sucks.
