Hi, im a graphic designer and i want to learn Web Design, my web design knowledge is almost 0, at this momment i just can make PSD Templates, i want to make WordPress themes and HTML sites, so this is my question:
What knowledge do I need to make HTML sites and wordpress themes?
I know i should know html but i dont know what else.

I would recommend reading the tutorials on http://www.w3schools.com and http://www.tizag.com. That’s where I learned xhtml/css.
You’ll want to learn CSS along with HTML as that’s how you do most styling.
For WordPress you’ll need to know the basics of PHP and WP which you can also learn on those sites.

Thank you so much for the help, i have 2 more question. Should i learn JS? i noticed that many pages here on themefores include JS files, what are JS files for?

JavaScript. JS is used for drop-down menus, image sliders, etc.
I would recommend learning the other languages first and then go on to JavaScript and jQuery.

Yep, like WPHead said, it’s a good start to first learn HTML & CSS , then dig into WP or jQuery => PHP .
