As Tean said… only way to avoid that is MB. I get the same treatment via PP… now at least they’ve unlocked my account, just like that, after I had sent everything but the kitchen sink to them. The transfers take more than the standard 3 days, but the only missing amount is from PP to CCard which is 2.50E. However, if I want to receive 140$ I need to send the invoice for 147$ and 6.89$ are the fees PP implies.

I think because of the exchange rates converting USD to GBP … that’s where paypal makes their money.

Jup, exchange rates are the way they make a lot of their profit – that’s where a lot of the USD to EUR ends up ;) Wish Envato would finally switch to the world’s most prominent curency; the Euro, of course. :)

I think Envato uses Paypal Masspay and there’s no fees on the buyers end in the United States

Zeccin is from Brazil and he said PP doesn’t charge him. I think you are right in the fact that envato has some deal with paypal where most of their payees aren’t charged.

No charge with Paypal. Zero fee! Although Paypal exchange rate is quite low, that’s the only down side for me.

I have been using Paypal for more than 2 years, and haven’t had any problem with it.

Oh dear, don’t get me started…

I made my first withdrawal in a year last month, it doesn’t usually last til the end of the month as I just buy stuff on here. I got the money into Paypal with no charges on the 19th and then that was transferred into my bank on the 22nd, also with no charges.
