Related question -> Can you have categories only for a custom post type ? For example I create a CPT named Portfolio Items with Categories support. But when I go to post editing I can see the categories from the normal posts too. Is it possible ?

I do not currently have any themes up that I have directly done…. other than debuging/helping… there are themes coming though
