IE9 has IE7 and IE8 build in. Can be switched on in the developer tools (F12) 
Have you tried Browser Lab? It is awesome, and allows you to test your website in different OS and browsers

It doesn’t give precise results though.

I’ve always used IECollection by Utilu – it just feels much more native than IETester, so I find myself trusting the results much more. Perhaps I should consider getting a Windows 7 virtual machine, though, as XP doesn’t run IE9

I’ve also found that Adobe browser lab isn’t very precise. Not to mention it only takes a screenshot so you can’t “play” with the site like IEtester. I only use it to check OSX when needed (don’t have a mac….yet).

IETester and/or Browserlabs are not necessary, as you can use IE’s developer tools by pressing F12 . This will allow you to preview the DOM and browser mode of IE7 , IE8 and IE9 ().
() if you’re using it form IE9 of course.
