Help!

Hey guys I need your help! I was working on a huge file and while saving the computer turned off due to a black out!

Do you know how can I try to recover the psd? The psd has all the data because is 700MB, but when I try to open it, the software tells me is not a Photoshop format. Thanks

Sorry Giallo! Same thing happened to me when I saved some of my web templates/elements in 2-DVD and some of the PSD files were unable to open. It is really painful to lose a file that has no backup.

I thought blackouts only happened in third world countries like here! The same thing happens to me all the time, but after the first time i realized that if the file is saved anywhere but the desktop then it can usually be recovered by choosing safe mode on restarting. Thanks for the links regarding this too, for inevitable future reference.
