The community shield has kicked off this afternoon with Torres putting Chelsea 1-0 up by half time, which means the curtain has officially been pulled on the new season.

I saw there was an “official thread” for last season so I thought why not kick off another one.

However my predictions: 1-United 2-Chelsea 3-City 4-Arsenal 5-Liverpool, yes totenham will fade Also will hope to see Leeds United to climb up to Premier FA winners: Liverpool

Serie A which is what matter for me will be like this: 1- AS Roma 2- AC Milan 3- SSC Napoli 4- FC Juventus 5- FC Inter Coppa Winners: AS Roma or Juventus

Oh and some question i have “Why are they playing Community Shield at Vila Park not Wembly”? Or maybe cause Wembly hosts the Olympics final? Then why not Cardiff Stadium?

No idea why they picked Villa park, seemed a bit odd to me. I’m sure there’s a good reason.

Are Milan going to bring anybody in to replace big Ibra? Have they made any good signings yet?

Not yet, there are word they will bring Borriello back, maybe Roma will take Mexes again…
