Flash 10 files

I want to use the 3D features in Flash player 10, but you need CS4 to publish. Has anyone had any success selling CS4 only files, is it too soon?

CS5 is coming ,CS4 is old

I think many skip CS4 and will hold to CS3 until CS5 will pop up.

i think CS5 will be as what CS3 was in popularity ,look like CS4 is only a bridge to CS5

Well IMO , FP10 / CS4 files will work fine in CS5 , so go ahead…

I’m sure there is a hack, because when CS4 was in beta, people were making experiments with FP 10 using CS3 … but google has failed me. I wonder if it would work putting the FP10 code it is own swf and then loading it into a FF9 swf.

Let me clear this for you if you are using CS4 and save it for CS3 that’s fine but the moment you use any of the special syntax like 3D or any syntax code that been support only by CS4 or even the timeline special motion you will have a failure in submitting your work in CS3 there is really no good way around this and you must use fp10 for that.

I already saw people submitting CS4 files here with out any use of special syntax of CS4 which is completely unnecessary since they can do it with CS3 (ill count this do to some heavy smoker’s out there ) .

It was the same when AS3 came out you couldn’t work with this on flash 8 thats life, flash move fast ….

Same apply to what haves said before Fp9 will not recognize the special Syntax in CS4 because there is a class check when load into external swf so you can do it only if you use syntax code of CS3 in to CS4 . So you need to use from CS4 to load CS3

In away its really a massy way ,but just use CS4 if you need to use the fully function of fp10 .

You probably watched Brimelows tutorial on how to use the alpha version of player 10 and publish it from CS3 . The only way to use 3D in CS3 is using some engine like Papervision or Away3D.

when will that CS*Period end? CS3 , CS4, CS5 ….......... CS98 , CS99
