File Approvement System

How this works?... i see that sometimes a file stays more on a queue position while other files are approved…
This is not that bad.. but when is finally approved it appears in the list using his date of upload.. not the date when the file was approved.. and this thing can bury the file in the new file list… and that means less promoting time…

The reason your file might not get approved in order is reviewers can skip files. There are lots of reason for skipping files, so unfortunately there is not much we can do. At least queue times are much quicker these days!

The idea of displaying the last reviewed file at the top has been discussed, but not sure if they will change the current system.

i know , that happened to me twice ,once I was in the queu list as a number 1 and when my file was validated i was on the list as a number 15th and the others 14th files that were on the list wasn’t a new files , I hope there won’t be a third time if not i will be very very sad …

I think the date of the file should be the “approval date” and not the “uploaded date” so, as wicked said, the promotional time wouldn’t be shorter.

Wild, I agree with you, and I believe that someone has made this suggestion to staff before. Its quite possible that it may be implemented. I would suggest writing support regarding the issue, because if the staff never read this thread, the idea will not get documented…therefor it may never happen.

But every suggestion that is put forth to staff gets considered…so writing support may give it a better shot.
