Feedback on Band Template Before Submittng to TF

Hey Guys and Gals

I have been working on my new band template. I would like to have some feedback before i upload it to TF. Just general feedback positive or negative i do not mind.

You should definitely invest in better hosting. Also bottom menu is not working, there’s lack of visual hierarchy. In my opinion it’s too messed right now, but with good polishing it has chance.

What do you mean bottom menu not working? My hosting is pretty fast.

One thing that may not go so well with the themeforest reviews is that music is being played when you visited this site. This can be seen by others as a nuisance and a big turn off. Personally, I find it distracting and a little shocking as I was playing my own music in the background and this interfered with it. I understand this is a music site, but the actual focus is the content and the music is distracting and competing with the content for attention.

I believe the problem is not with your hosting but with the site in general. What I mean is that it is a little slow. Furthermore, your bottom navigation is experiencing some hiccups, which is why the user “sunlifter” commented as not working. The bottom navigation works, but only slightly as it is unresponsive at times.

Thanks for the feedback. The reason for loading a bit slow is probably the background images because they are fairly large.

As for the bottom navigation what exactly happens because i have tested it with different computers and different browsers and it was fine no hiccups.

The music player can be turned off in the js so it does not start on load but i thought since it’s a band site it would be ok to have the music load on start. As i said auto start can be turned off, not a big deal.

What i was looking for is more feedback on the different pages, what i mean by this is the content enough or someone may have a suggestion to add something to the existing pages.

As for the menu i dunno what is happening but i will definitely take a look at it.

The site runs best in Chrome i did notice the animations being a bit choppy in IE and FF but chrome they are very smooth.

Ok I fixed or hope i fixed the menu issues. I think it was the z-index on a few things just had to arrange them properly.
