Feature works in my blog!

Hey I want to feature some high quality works of envato authors in my blog. There are not many topics at the moment, but I want to fill it with feature work of awesome authors (webdesigner & developer).

So write if you aggree on taking your stuff and bring in ideas and postings which I should combine to your feature works.

I guess no one would have anything against any kind of promotion on your blog I know I don’t have

first off, I think it’s a great thing you’re doing by taking the time to give your fellow Envato Authors extra promotion for their items.

However, I have had to remove the links posted to your blog. Whilst I know you have posted with good intentions, there are many freebies on your site and linking to free files within the Forums, (directly or indirectly) is not allowed.

A note on Self Promotion

Because of the commercial nature of the Envato networks, authors are expected to understand and respect the fact that using the forum to post links to one’s own items, or to give away free files to the community, is not allowed. This practice effectively undercuts the hard work of all authors who wish to sell their items fairly, and as such it is not tolerated.

No one ever wanna feature the Tuts+ authors We feel so lonely over there! We need hugs! Love! Affection! And most of all, we need affiliate links!

I believe it has to do with the low prices on Tuts+. Getting a $2.1 referral on a $7 item isn’t something most affiliates would bother with, I think…
