Fancy seeing you here! LOL . I am sure Kappy will be thrilled about the positive reference here and of course we echo the fact he provides amazing support.

On the topic of Facebook Templates, in fact we post a comment in the blog when Envato first posted its article a week ago about the activeden facebook flash templates.

Envato had a thread a couple of months ago on the topic of facebook templates, and nothing seems to have come out of that. So in the blog post last week we commented asking them to respond on the question of facebook templates, since the flash pages on Active Den are really most suited for simple fan pages, not for full corporate workups (in our opinion).

They never responded. Perhaps they don’t read their own blog?

I would add twitter to the list as well. Possibly synched FB and Twitter templates could be a combined item.

I think someone like bitpub, who makes a great email template could probably come up with an equally versatile FB template without to much trouble, using their existing code and framework – adjusting where necessary for the FBML (which I think is being phased out in favor of traditional web standards).

On the support issue, I don’t think you are going to get much of a reaction on the support rating idea. Themeforest policy seems to be that support is not required or mandatory – it is buyer beware and pay attention to the documentation claim. I think authors who don’t offer support would fight this idea tooth and nail.

I spoke to ThemeForest staff and turns out a template built exclusively for the FB iFrame cannot get accepted here at the moment

WIth about 1 theme / month about these templates maybe it’s time to start thinking.

Congrats. Your facebook template has elements a real facebook template should contain for a business facebook page: multitab, picture and video support, contact form, buttons, google maps, integrated social icons, etc.

Look at the comments from just the last 2 days on your theme thread – they are all facebook related. There is so much demand for this product, and you will be a beneficiary for the results. You have great sales after just 3 days for an html template and we really suspect the included FB template is a factor (not taking away from the html template which is very nice).

We bet if you also included a twitter template, you could also move your price up another dollar or two, given all your theme package offers.

We have some questions about your fb template, but we will post them in the theme thread, not here.

Great move. Hopefully, pending Envato seeing the light on a dedicated fb template, more authors will follow your lead.
