Facebook Social Plugin Help?

I want to add a Facebook Social plugin to my website but I am having problems. I don’t have much experience with coding and developing so any help would be greatly appreciated. I already have the facebook code and just need to include it on my html file. I am having some difficulties with javascript. I know this isnt a major project and shouldnt be hard for someone with design/code experience.
