Chuck, you can only set an higher price, the base price is the one of your file.

Which means the higher price can exceed 40$ for a template?

Great to hear!

The Base Price is currently just the price the item begins life at which we track behind the scenes. I’ve asked the dev team to add more automated price increase functionality at which point you’ll be able to have a control panel which will be a little more usable. Right now we’re doing it a bit low-fi

And no downwards adjustments because it’s important we don’t start undercutting the general market, especially from the best of the best authors as it will make it very hard for new authors to compete
