Envato API - item updates

Hello

Does anybody knows a way to monitor updates for a file?
We searched the API but couldn’t find such a method and the author’s RSS feed doesn’t publish item updates neither.

This is some example output for http://marketplace.envato.com/api/edge/item:150532.json

As you can see there is an “uploaded_on” key but no “updated_on” key.

Unfortunately, correct me if I’m wrong, but as far as i know there is no feature which supports this on the API .

Yep. But it would be awesome if it existed.

There’s no feature for that generally.

An update ‘feed’ or an addition to the API would be absolutely awesome. So here’s a +1 from me. It would allow those of us who use the Envato API for our own portfolios to publish when the item was last updated (and ideally the version number). It might be possible also for us to be able to e-mail our customers (who have signed up for help forums using their purchase code) to inform them that an update is available.

Given the number of files I’ve purchased I would love to know when a file has been updated. Specially for ThemeForest files.
