I start to get a very strong feeling that they don’t look at the item.

Hey Amrhamza,

a reviewer’s job is to review, they will never reject your file without looking at it :)

They surely look at your files! I do have a feeling that sometimes some maynot read the “message to the reviewer”. Also sometimes there are inconsistencies in what is allowed and what not.

A couple of examples, just minor quibbles, but still things that made me wonder:

1) I was asked to remove my preview image from the download even though all my other items have this preview image and all items I have purchased have a preview image included in the download. (Note “preview image”, not “preview images set”)

2) I was asked to remove an image from the download file even though I clearly stated in my message that I have full licence to use this image. Plus that same image is included in the download of another of my items here at GR.

3) I was asked to name my preview images 01_name.jpg even though on to other items 01.jpg was good enough.

Of course these are really minor, I just fix resubmit and within 30 min the files were up for sale. No problem whatsoever.

Nevertheless, at least #2 Leads me to believe that reviewers do not always read the messages that accompany the submission.

Then again, we’re all human :) it’s not like I’ve never just skimmed through a mail … :)

I cannot however believe that they do not even look at the files … That would be very problematic! What makes you think so?

Cheers

Chris

They look at them, they just don’t always give clear indications on what is actually wrong with them they’d reject them.

I might misunderstood, but The rev said that this \\

is same as \\

and he said I maybe violate the envato rules of submission which leads to suspension and here is the rejection file ” This is a resubmission of a previously rejected submission. Resubmitting without making the required changes or any improvements is not considered acceptable use of the Envato marketplaces and repeated attempts may result in a temporary or permanent suspension of authorship.

If this item was previously soft-rejected, please resubmit your updated files by updating the item directly. If this item was previously hard-rejected, it must be changed as required in the initial review or significantly improved such that it qualifies as a new item.”

I never faced this before.

Well the thing is this, your flyer needs work.. but that’s no problem :)

For starters the font style (especially in the second one) looks to simple and flat imo, sorry… if your going for a grunge effect like this try adding a lot more detail to this sort of effect.

The renders cut out are ‘ok’ but they look real flat, i don’t know if this is supposed to be the general idea.

The overal image needs to be more of a ‘whole’ look at the top sale flyers and you will see that a lot are centralized and form a connected image, yours on the other hand has several individual elements here and there.

So.. a better detailed font style, and a more balanced placement of elements, start with that and you’l get a long way!

Good Luck!

ps: if you get a soft reject, re-up your new files under the ‘Hidden’ Tab on your author dashboard.

The image is visibly different, but as far as composition goes it could still use more work. I’m a digital artist specializing in photomanipulation and I can tell you what I think of the image. I like the movie poster idea behind it and it could look great with more polishing. You have a strong light source to the left while there are no shadows on the text, the model or bike to reflect that. The 3D bike seems to have a different light setup based on the highlights/shadows of it. The text isn’t working. Something to the likes of the “3D Broken Concrete Alphabet” available in the marketplace would be more suitable for the war/post-apocalyptic look and go well with the cracked ground. And lastly, I’m just not getting the need for the magenta hues on the ground, it looks unnatural.
