I’ve gotten about 400 emails so far.. Who’s fault is this? What happened? This is confusing.
We’re not sure but as I look after the support system I’ll take responsibility. I’m sorry for the trouble, we’re all scrambling to try to figure it out. It could be related to the new support upgrade.

It is not your fault. It’s a bug. We’re all developers. These things happen. No one is perfect. Don’t be to harsh on yourself, this goes for Carmen as well :)

@Drew @Carmen, it’s NOT your guy’s fault and I wasn’t looking for someone to blame, I was just wanting to know if it was my fault. :)

No worries, I’ve simply deleted the emails.

Guys! Here is a question. Do you have auto-reply? If you got 4020342 mails and you have auto-reply. Try disabling it until this matter is solved! It could be the support bot, re-sending the e-mail over and over once it gets a reply. We all got different amounts of e-mails. So this could be it. Give it a shot!

Very good theory Enabled. Please can everyone disable their auto-reply! We are not 100% but the theory at the moment is that your auto-reply (and anything else that would be creating another email) are firing at each other keep the issue on going. This would explain why only some people are affected and we can’t see any evidence of thousands of emails on our end.

Yeap. The support@envato.com is basically acting like a ping system. It sends a message, you reply, it sends one back, and considering the auto-reply thing keeps kicking it it will basically get hundreds or thousands of e-mails untill the server just crashes ( mail or envato email )

Still working on this guys, just to reiterate, please turn off all auto responders and anything else that would create additional mail. We think maybe that is what is keeping things going. More updates when we have them, thank you all for being patient and understanding.
