Hi Guys,
Don’t know if this has been discussed previously but is it possible for us to see a feature where you set a discounts for the first 1, 2 – 5 buyers of the item? Maybe something similar to the Elite Price Adjustment Tool though i donno how it works, def, my badge tells it all
Inspiration: where i come from there is a tradition that the first person to enter your shop and suggest to buy an item at a lower price than the price tag indicates, gets it at the price he/she has quoted (well that might be a bit far fetched to work on envato but, yeah, i guess you get the idea
)
Great idea this would certainly increase sales
Interesting idea. I think it would accelerate the first sales.

Probably a lot of work for the developers. I know I wouldn’t use it.
I think most of the products are already quite discounted. I worked full time for 3 months on a theme that initially sold for $35, I’d say that’s a pretty good deal.
Here is my propose:
35$ themes would be priced 45$ and 30$ themes would be priced 40$. The first 10 buyers would have a 10$ discount
I think it’s a great idea and would increase the sales by getting the ball rolling. Let Envato eat the 5 dollar discount on the first 3 sales, don’t take it away from the authors.
Thread jack – How about just raising the theme prices to 75?
What about developer licenses (with an increased price)? I guess lots of people would buy them …
For example:
Regular License -> 30$
Developer License -> 70$
Extended License -> 1500$
On a side note I have to say that I would put more efforts on my themes if prices were increased …

What would a Developer License do exactly?

It would be for developers who make sites for their clients with TF themes.

Why would they buy the license though? Just to pay extra? What are the advantages over the Regular License is what I’m saying.
