How long should you keep a file up on Audio Jungle with 0 sales ?! I want to slim down my portfolio. Need some help !!
Also I think a great feature would be to be able to hide an item temporarily to see how it affects your sales, instead of deleting it altogether.

I usually delete a file if I don’t get 1 sale on it after 2 months.
I do this because I want to have a good appeal on my number of items per sale ratio. But sometimes, it’s not a bad idea to keep a file with 0 sales if you think that you put a lot of work into it though, because while people may not buy it, they may be impressed by the quality of the track and will look more into your other tracks
Hey Joe,
If you think the track is good, why not submit it for the bargain basement? I’ve had quite a few low selling tracks make it in there and get sales, and while you don’t get a whole lot for a sale (as they’re selling for $3) you can get good exposure out of it.
Thanks for the info!
@ThomasVoMusic Yeah I would guess around 2 months would be enough time to give your items some decent exposure. But you’re right some quality tracks might get overlooked too so it’s tricky.
@jhunger I think the bargain basement is a great idea. I’ve submitted a few songs there already. How long does it take for them to show up there?
Just throwing it out there but would it make sense for authors to purchase each others tracks just to show some numbers up there?!

I recently had two extended license sales for two files that were at 0 sales for over a year. These are files that I almost forgot they existed in my portfolio, but what a wonderful surprise they turned out to be
Just sayin’ that sometimes you gotta have some patience and leave the files out there, give them a chance to be found by the right buyer for the right project.
I think you should keep your files with 0 sales. You can never know which track will be purchased next. And don’t forget that every item is litlle advertisement for your portfolio. I uderstand, that you want to have a good appeal on your number of items per sale ratio, but what you need more? Ratio or sales?:)
This is your portfolio and it’s great if its massive:)

Hi joe, you should not delete a track after two months. You are new to the market, and when u r on page one i guess you might delete a track after six months. My older zero tracks are slowly turning into sales.
Hate to revive a dead thread but I just got an extended sale on an item that had zero sales since I uploaded it in June. Maybe it’s best to never delete a track?
Good stuff! See I guess you never know.
