Hi People;
I wonder how many of the authors migrated to CS4 ? If you started to use CS4 , what advantages and disadvantages it has? I am thinking to start using it but not sure and as it is such an expensive software, double thinking is always good.
ive got cs4 but still use flash 8 for as2 work. only got cs4 instead of cs3 because it will last longer and anyway i get it cheap because im a student
The 3d engine is great in CS4 but i use CS3 for most of my work.

I was using CS3 Master Edition (Student) but ive now taken the blow and purchased CS4 Production Premium (Commercial).
There are a few bugs in it, but I cant remember the last time a piece of large software was released without bugs to be honest…
If your deciding which to buy you might as well “future proof” yourself and get CS4 …
if flashden can accept flash cs4 file. Maybe a lot of people will start to using it.
I bought CS4 master collection today… Well got to say, it is a bit strange to see all gray toolbars and window titles. But i also noticed that the performance is way better than before in illustrator, photoshop and flash cs4. Also, is there anyway to make it save in CS3 by default? If no, than it will be a bit annoying to choose “save as” every time…

That’s the sole reason I haven’t updgraded… Though I guess you can run CS3 and CS4 both (I heard that somewhere) so I might look into that.
And also, after creating a regular motion tween, when you save it in CS3 , it converts the tween to time line animation… I didn’t like this…

I run both CS4 Trial and CS3 Pro with no problems, although they keep changing the .fla file type default aplication.
Also, CS4 has some bugs and glitches which can disrupt the working flow.
CS3 still does everything I need. CS4 is nice, but I don’t feel the need (yet) to switch.
