@InlifeThrill Did you check who submited that? :)

Sometimes, you need not submit an item there. If it’s good, they will automatically pick it from any of the Envato Marketplaces. It won’t show inside your portfolio, but only inside the Creattica collection.

I think all envato sites serve a comercial function, imo, creattica works as a way to blend stock and real world design to show the quality of the work we produce in a non stock context that aims to a diferent audience. I’ve submited the same file twice, first with 0 sales and then after being 2 weeks on the popular files page and the last time got accepted, so, I think sales volume is a relevant factor for creattica, but certainly not the only one.

I’ve uploaded one so far and it was accepted. I need to upload more but will probably get rejected.

I have joined Creattica but have yet to upload any work. Just by browsing the site I got the feeling they wanted really exceptional work to showcase, so I’m a bit nervous about uploading. I do think any exposure is a bonus, so I guess I’ll brave the possible rejections.

I’ve sent one and it was approved.. I guess that they have tighter rules of approval in creattica than they have here in videohive because of the amount of items sent…

Aaah… is that how it works? I didn’t realise. I’ve been sitting around for two years now, waiting for Creattica to apply to me :)

I’ve submitted 2 items to Creattica, the other one was approved.

Miseld: It could be that they noticed you are submitting a lot of work and decided to just reject most of them.Creattica (to me at least) is a place for designers to show their BEST work, not ALL of their work.

If you are not familiar with http://www.behance.net/ – check them out.A good place to promote your work.
