This LITERALLY just arrived in my Inbox in relation to me asking what was required in order for me to give a proper quote:
“I don’t have the specifics yet, but we are looking to customize one of your Admin Themes. Would you be able to give me a rough estimate of how long something like that might take you. “
You can’t make thsi stuff up!!!
Lol! “We don’t know what we want yet, but can you tell us how long it will take you?”
I just reply with “For that amount of work I would invoice you £3000 let me know when I should start”
see what they come back with! lol
some people just dont read through what they write? mad world
It was kind of surreal. My reply was polite, i told them you wouldn’t get a machanic telling you how much it would be withuot finding out what the problem was. Lets see if they come back lol.
I got this last month.
Regretfully I have to say that I’m pretty disappointed with the mock up and this has been backed up by my team and wife who all agree that it just doesn’t “pop”.

To give you some idea, I manage somewhere around 10-15 websites with hundreds of customers using applications on each one. This one literally just came into my inbox at work from support:
A customer called and said [word] was misspelled. Can you forward onto the correct person?
