LeftArmy saidTo add my personal opinion, I am one of those authors benefited/guided due to rejection.
Hi, I’m getting very frustrated as whatever I submit is rejected.
I agree. And feeling disappointed after a rejection is natural, but I always learn something from the experience.

One of my items was in-fact rejected due to… “JavaScript items cannot depend on other technologies, such as PHP , to work. An item can provide hooks for a server-side app to plug into, but it must be platform-agnostic.”... The item I submitted was a PHP Password Resetter, intended for “PHP User Systems” and would work with pretty much any existing PHP user system, yet the reviewer decided to reject and mentioned javascript.
Emphasis mine. If you want to target a set of customers using a certain server-side technology, why not submit the item to that category instead of a client-side category?
@codingjack, i didnt say its full of crap, as in its “FULL” of crap, but there is certainly a lot of crap.
Fortunately, i dont need envato as a src of income. Whilst it would be nice, i prefer to buy now from coders i respect and trust. I respect their development time and skills over my own.
Im not judging an entire community, just stating fact as i see it.

What do you mean? It was submitted to the PHP category.

Nope. JavaScript. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have gotten that rejection reason (and I wouldn’t have reviewed your item).
CodingJack saidMy last rejection was 3+ years ago i think, what’s does it mean? Do i need to start submit stuff here to feel like you ?

yeah man go for it!
but seriously CC could use a few more fx ninjas. Right now I think Fabio is the lone king.
My first item was rejected like 5 months ago, when I submitted for the first time, the reason was pretty easy to fix, the Documentation wasn’t good enough (I submitted a .txt file, while I had the .html frame from CodeCanyon), I just fixed what they’ve told me and here I am.
I suggest you to fix what they keep saying it’s not good, and then update your item.

Any way there is not much we can do on the canvas until all browser’s will support it, as i really don’t want to handle those Q regarding ie6/7/8 on the canvas ,its really a problem making something that is not browser compatibility here …
And with js you can get most of the stuff for free as MIT …....any way as i think the market is very replete here, maybe that’s why price are so low here unless you go php cms and that’s tons of work …..but i have other plan`s for the next 6 month or so ….and soon ill be long gone from the market + there are a lot of ninjas here more than AD for sure ……
Enjoy the weekend C
Well editors expect everything for nothing, costumers should deside if some script or iphone app is good for sale but not some editors, I am in business since 1999 and my concept app was rejected twice, I have submit iphone app Camera + ZOOM nice concept for beginners but that is not enough for some editors of this site, they expect super turbo camera high functional camera for $20 with ful code, well sorry that does not work like that dear editors, this should be templates for novice users that will guide them how to build camera etc…
