I guess I am not the only one who’d like to see the top announcement bar disappear, permanently, once you have clicked the close button.
Now I do appreciate the whole 70% boost, I am very happy for Envato and its birthday and I am even more excited about the upcoming bundle.. but this constant closing of the announcement bar is getting a bit annoying.
And if it’s only me, feel free to mock :D—in which case I’ll have to check into my cache settings.

It’s not happening on my end.
Then again, my browser says hi to me everytime I start it up…
Mine hasn’t popped back up since I closed it the first time. I’m using Firefox.
I keep getting it and I’m using Chrome.

It’s doing it for me in Chrome. Already checked that I have cookies enabled. ::: shrug :::
I guess I don’t mind being reminded that I’m making 70% commission right now.

You could install the Blank Canvas extension for Chrome and then write a script to hide the info bar with jQuery.
