I’ve tried to upload a couple of business card, but been rejected every time. I get the feedback telling I have some great design concepts, but that I need a few adjustments.
Here are the cards:

Please let me know what you think!
Hi thomask3r,
I’m a new author but long-time buyer here on Envato. Based on comments I’ve seen on other submissions and just some of my own impressions, here are some thoughts on the Dark Modern Business Card.
I like the mood of the card. It’s intriguing to me, and after my first glance, I wanted to keep looking at it. But after doing so, I think the company name color seems to blend a bit much with the background. Ditto for the subtitle. I had to look twice to see that it was there. Perhaps a lighter font color or background to increase contrast might help.
2. The contact information section seems narrow, especially for the name, unless the name can spill over into the black section. From a design perspective, that might interfere with the separation you’ve established with the grey and black areas. Also, the font for the address block feels especially tiny, relative to the size of the card. Would the city/state/country information appear on the same line as the street address or move to the next line? If it will share space with the street address, the text might spill over into the black section. It might help to demo the card with longer address information, to show that more information will fit comfortably into the design.
3. The logo is very cool, and I like the roles above and below it. Again, I think the size of the text is an issue. It feels really small to me.
Overall, I think you’ve got a good feel going with your design. Best of luck on the next submission round.

Wow, thank you so much!
I agree on all of it, and I’ll try to do something about it. The only thing I might have a problem with is the front side. I had trouble get more contrast between the background and the typography, without getting the point ruined.
But again, thank you!
Would you mind helping me with the other card? Is it bad?
re: Modern and Colorful Business Card
Hi thomask3r,
Love the design; it’s very dynamic and has good color choices, although the green feels just a touch flat compared to the red and blue, like there’s a bit extra grey in it or something.
The design captures my attention, especially the paint spatters (way cool). The background looks like fabric to me, which I like as well.
But there are some technical items to look at. By the way, these may just be in the preview image, in which case a better export of the image is in order. Otherwise, here are some things I noticed:
Front 1. Initials logo is fuzzy 2. Pixelation around edges of color bands 3. Pixelation around edges of title band 4. Color bands seem to be different sizes; the green seems smaller than the blue, which seems smaller than the red (note: this may be a design choice, in which case disregard) 5. The angle of the bands is at odds with the font angles, which, to my eye throws the balance of the design off a bit. (again, this may be by design) 6. The initials are off center to the left just a bit; not enough to make me think it’s on purpose or to feel like it’s a bold choice. I suggest moving it center or moving it further left to make the choice solid.
Back 1. Space for name seems small and a longer name might spill over the name area unless the font is resized 2. Contact text seems to be too small 3. Color bands seem to be different sizes (again, this may be a design choice)
Please keep in mind that my observations are just that…nothing more. If my comments are too picky, just disregard them : )
Overall, I think you’ve got a very good design going, and a bit more snap will take it to the next level.
